This programme of study develops knowledge and understanding of core engineering principles, mathematics and computation appropriate to the field of manufacturing engineering. Students develop specialist knowledge along with the intellectual and practical skills that enable them to analyse, investigate and implement robust solutions to complex manufacturing and engineering problems.

You will develop effective study skills and become a strong independent learner, all the while receiving appropriate tutoring and support. Students are instilled with transferable skills in the use of computers, software packages, team working, communication, time management and problem solving methodology, enabling them to undertake responsible roles in industry.

By graduation you will have gained transferable skills in the use of software packages, teamwork, communication, time management and problem solving, making you well-placed to undertake senior roles in industry.
